I have my misgivings about this post, but I guess one must do what one must do. I am selling my SuperGen 2000S. This thing is a great genlock. I've seen most of the Amiga genlocks on the market, and this is one of the two if not the best genlock on the market. It is by far the most versitile. With composite or Y/C and transcoding capabilty the 2000S can handle just about any format. If you have a 2002, 1080, 1084, or 1084S monitor, you can display the Y/C video with a hacked cable or one bought from Redmond Cable on the montor. When you switch from RGB to Y/C on the montior the Y/C in my opinion looks better. The price for this 9 month old device is: $1000.00 Why am I selling it if a like it so much you might ask? It's called business. I recently merged my video business operations with another party whose format is 3/4". We decided that this format would best suit our requirements at this time. Therefore, with the exception of the cameras, I sold off all of my S-VHS equipment. The money from the sale of the equipment including the 2000S is needed to fund our marketing efforts. He provides the video and editing equipment, and I provide the computer and capital. That's the deal. I have a regular SuperGen that performs almost on par with the 2000S in composite video so that's what I will use. If you are interested call Mike Greer at (313) 845-4070. Leave a message on the voice mail if I am not there. M. Greer
