I've just heard of an (apparently) new product for the desktop video folks. It's called PRO VGA/TV from a company called AITech. I had a brief chat with a rep at the company and it's a separate card similar to the Magni VGA Producer which works in conjunction with a regular VGA card (the two connect via the feature connector on the VGA card, as opposed to the DAC socket as is the case with the Magni). The best part is, this board lists for only $695 (VGA Producer lists for $1695), and there is at least one place which sells them for $595. I have not seen this board reviewed anywhere, and I live out in the middle of nowhere so I can't run out to a dealer and take a look. Do any of you netters have one of these cards? Care to tell me/the net of your impressions and experiences? So far it seems to be the only card besides the VGA Producer which has S-video ins and outs, but I'm a bit leery of buying it sight unseen. Any information would be helpful.
