Due to a number of things, I didn't manage to snarf a copy of the most recent copy of pathalias from comp.sources.unix. Along with all of the noise about NEW MAP formats, and upgrading to 2.11 news to latest patch (that works of course).... Maybe there should be a discussion of making sure them's that want to do the upgrade can get the stuff that they need. Posting sources locally in tor.news might be a good way to go about this. though, I understand several sites forward tor, can and ont via mail all over the place. Dicussion anyone? If anybody's interested, both lsuc and spectrix have complete sets of 2.11 news patches up to 13 to offer in trade. Untouched by human hands - and even with a few patches to the patches. Even, gasp, some pointers on bringing C-news up. Lsuc's C-news seems to be working fine now. -- Chris Lewis, Curmudgeon #2, {uunet!mnetor,pyramid!utai,decvax!utcsri,ihnp4!utzoo}!lsuc!clewis

Also smail and sendmail stuff. I can only guarantee that they work for BSD class machines, but since all the officially blessed patches are applied and all the unofficially blessed patches are available, anyone should be able to get these things working. If you want the sources, drop me a line, telephone me, hint in this newsgroup and they are yours. -david- -- David Haynes Geac Computers International Inc. UUCP: {mnetor|yetti|utgpu}!geac!david
