As an alternative to training all of the potential Usenet users at yunccn in proper ettiquette of the network and simply hoping that they follow the rules, I'm considering setting up the software so that yunccn will have a local moderator of everything going out on the net. This would be able to catch mis-postings like John's, which has caused so much of a stir lately. Technically, I'm not quite sure what should be changed in the software. I know that the active and moderators files need tinkering, but I'm not sure how to "approve" an article. If you have any insight, please let me know. We're running B news 2.11, patch level 14. -- Paul Shields, shields@yunccn.UUCP "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds; and the pessimist fears this is true." -- James Branch Cabell.
