Til now I've been reading news with vnews, and been banging my head against a wall due to information overload. I haven't got enough time to scan through the headers, much less to read all of the news. What I want to do is (1) scan for articles containing certain key words, and (2) follow through a thread of articles to get a coherent conversation. Although I've heard that rn lets me track through a chain of related articles, what I'm looking for might be a little different. If I see an article that I think is relevant, I want to tell the news reader to show me all followup articles to it. But if it has just come in from the network, there won't be many followups yet. When I sign on two days later, I will have forgotten what I was looking for, even though the followups have come through. So I want the reader to show me those articles first. Is there any reader in existence that will do this conveniently?
