About a week ago, I posted a note to the net offering to become a focal point in the exchange of Calvin & Hobbes computer images. At the time, all I had in mind was a way for people that have workstations to decorate them with their favorite cartoon characters. It has come to my attention that the images of Calvin & Hobbes could possibly be copyright material. I have no wish to get into any legal hassles, and I am sure my company does not either. I just assumed that as long as we use this stuff for our personal enjoyment, their would be no problems. On the other hand, it could be possible for some screwball to mess things up for the rest of us. I am hereby suspending distributing these images until I can find out what the consequences are. I would hope a little harmless enjoyment would not be breaking any rules, but these days, who can tell?
