I'm fairly new at the aquarium thing; I've had this 20-gal tank since August. I've got 12 neon tetras, an angel, a glass cat, a pair of pearl gouramis, some zebras, white cloud tetras, a couple of algae-eaters, and a pair of kribensis. The problem is that the kribensis keep chewing up the plants -- at least I think it's the kribensis doing it. Is there anything I can do to stop 'em? I've considered these possibilities, but haven't acted on any of them: They need more food (more flakes and less between-meal plant-munching) I need to find a kind of plant that tastes bad or grows faster I should set up a second tank as a plant farm, to keep ahead of these rascals Plant-munching is a sign of sexual frustration; I should find mates for them I should get some plastic plants and give up on the real ones Any hints or comments on any of these would be welcome. Thanx! -- --------------------- Robert Wilhite UUCP: {ncrcae, akgua}!usceast!wilhite CSNET: wilhite@cs.scarolina.edu
