[net.unix-wizards] Any way to limit the depth of directory trees??

CSvax:Pucc-H:acg (01/19/83)

I am looking for a way to limit the depth of directory trees in normal
user directories. Before I start performing kernel surgery, I was
wondering if anybody had already implemented any sort of subdirectory
depth limit. Alternatively, I was wondering if anybody has some
ideas on how to implement such a limit as cleanly as possible.

Why would you want to limit the depth of user's directories?
