Although CBS said it would "consider and respond to Sony's Inquiry in due course," it also maintained it was not negtiating to sell the unit, which some analysts value at about $2 billion. CBS's stock jumped $9.50 a share to $208 after a gain of $8.25 Thursday. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Wow, talk about going to the heart of the problem. That would sure take the wind out of the Copynotch sails!
