[rec.audio] Laser Wear

Gee, would MFSW help aliviate laser wear on my CD's. It seems to me that
if the resistance of the signals to the speakers were reduced, that the
excess heat that was generated before would cause other circuitry in the
component system to be less stressed. If this subject has already been
covered recently please excuse this posting. And if the other circuitry
in the system were less stressed then it seems to me that the laser in
my CD player would not have to work so hard to read the data. (You know
that). This could also help out your other household appliances as well
by reducing the amount of amps required to run your system, therefore
leaving more for the other appliances. (yeah, I did notice that my
refridge light was a little brighter, but when the speaker wires leaked
the other night, my goldfish died..? guess I should have never run the
speakers into the aquarium...but my fish loved 'Def Leppard' (hard-rock
guppies)).

Please note:

Do not use your teeth to strip MFSW. It leaves a really bad taste in your
mouth.

Please note again:

That most of this posting probably belongs in talk.bizarre, but then so
do MERCURY FILLED SPEAKER WIRES.
