What can I do about the acceleration in frequency of these messages on the console? My DEC FE says the address given doesn't make sense. For the record, the vast majority of the messages are "mcr0: soft ecc addr ee488 syn c1" on a 4 Mbyte 780 with a single memory controller. Our current rate is 1 of these messages every 2 or 3 hours, but much more often when the system is loaded. I understand that soft errors aren't fatal, but at the rate we're going now, it'll soon be a hard error! I was once told that there was something quick & simple that could be done from the console in ODT mode, but exactly what it is wasn't known.
