[comp.sys.sun] Compiling sendmail 5.8 on a sun 3/160

Hello,

I am attempting to compile sendmail 5.8 (I bet you can guess why :-) on a
sun 3/160 running SunOS 4.0...and am failing miserably.

I get the following error:

       ld: Undefined symbol
          _dn_skip
          _getshort

These seem to be referenced by domain.c

Does anybody know what changes I need to make to the Makefile and/or
domain.c to get this thing to go...I'd REALLY like to be able to put this
system back on the net.

Please reply directly as I am in a bit of a hurry.
