Due to more than sufficient interest, I have posted the fix to the swap space mapping problem to net.bugs.4bsd. While rooting through my archives I found out I was wrong in my previous article complaining about lack of response from Berkeley. It turns out they DID personally respond to one bug report, and actually fixed it in 4.1a. I had informed them that the lock(1) program was useless because it responded to ^Z (stop) from the supposedly locked tty... Mike Braca, Brown CS, ..!decvax!brunix!mjb, mjb.brown@udel-relay
