When canfieldtool looses a card it's not really lost. It's still in the
talon.  The machine is just hiding it :-). Try picking up the "invisible"
card and you will find it's there. Then go for the win.

I too have encountered the "lost card" problem in canfieldtool.  With a
little experimentation, I determined that the card is not lost at all,
it's just invisible!  If you click in the right place ("hand" or "talon",
I don't remember precisely which) you can get it to reappear, and go on to
WIN THE GAME!  Incidentally, this only happens with the very last card in
the hand/talon.
