[comp.sys.sun] Problem with curses - initscr aborts on SUN-3/60

A friend of mine is having a problem with a program that uses curses.  On
a SUN-3/160 on the console running SUNOS3.5, the program works fine.  On a
SUN-3/60, the program aborts in initscr trying to get the TERMCAP entry.
The program also aborts on the 3/160 when the program is invoked inside a
SUNTOOLS window.

Any suggestions ??
