I have a 386i and a 3/60 (Unix 3.4) I am able to execute all the mounts sitting on the 386i, but when I'm on the 3/60, I cannot "mount 386:..... /a". I can rlogin and other things. Any information on this is higly appreciated. Vijay Kotrappa

The version shipped with the machine exports only /etc, user "volumes" directories (/export/vol/help and /export/vol/local) and home directories (/export/home/...). Chances are, unless you've changed it from the Sun version, /etc/exports on the 3/60 exports both "/" and "/usr". - Glenn Roberts, The MITRE Corporation, McLean VA (703)-883-6820 gfr%wolfgang@gateway.mitre.org
