We have a network of SUN 3/xx(x) machines, and are currently looking into buying two additional machines for a new lab. There are several people here who use MS-DOS applications, so the 386i is an interesting alternative to investigate. However, my primary concern is that only one person can use DOS at a time (even though it may be multiple windows). Can DOS windows be opened via telnet, or even over serial lines? I know that DOS can handle a standard ANSI display mode, so this doesn't sound too far fetched. Can anyone help me? Steven Smith U of Illinois, Microbiology smith@phylo.life.uiuc.edu
