I am running on a Sun386i Model 150, SunOS 4.0.1 . I have the following TWO problems that I am looking for possible help with: 1. Under SunOS 4.0, I was able to compile the calctool program by Chuck at trantor without problem. Under 4.0.1 though, the ops.c module will not compile. As strange as it may seem, when I try to compile it, the cc never and have found that if I give the option for preprocessor output only, I get the appropriate file. If I give the option for assembler output only, the compiler just sits there. The module is about 250 lines, and I have let it sit for over 20mins (so that no one could accuse me of being overly anxious ;-). Anyone have a fix for this one? 2. Under SunOS 4.0 and 4.0.1, the calentool (which has a person from Sun's name on it) worked just fine in 1988. When 1989 rolled along, it thought that it was a day earlier than it was. [[ A fix was included in v7n91. --wnl ]] Also, the year button doesnt seem to work properly - if I display January 1988, then click on the 1989 in the year menu, I get December 1988 instead. I tried fooling with the table of elapsed days and finally got calentool to recognize that today is indeed today, but have had no such luck with the year problem. Any ideas? Larry W.
