I, too, run a Sun/260C with TAAC and Dunn/Matrix Multicolor, and have experimented with various cable extensions. Anything longer than the cable supplied by Sun seems to cause some ghosting, but the severity varies with the configuration, specifically: * The sequence Sun->Taac->Multicolor->Monitor is a better impedence match than Sun->Taac->Monitor->Multicolor. The DC resistance really doesn't make any difference. It's the impedences within the video bandwidth that must match. * High-quality 75 ohm cable makes a difference. Use the best. * Make sure that each of the 4 R-G-B-S cables is the same length. Please let me know how this works out. I'd like to extend my own monitor cable to about 50', but haven't found a really satisfactory solution yet myself. Peter G.
