I am having problems with the Korn shell on a 386i model 150. I have the latest version of ksh that I know of (Version 06/03/86a). The problem seems to be when I run ksh under Sunview in a shelltool window. Everything works fine with the exception of the following two problems: 1. When I execute the 'kill -l' (that lower case L not 1) in a shelltool window, ksh will output the signals that it understands and then kill the window. 2. When ever I have a shelltool running ksh and I decide it is time to finish up and quit, and I try to quit via the 'title bar' option of "QUIT" I get the window to remove itself, but the process continues to execute in an infinite loop. Needless to say, my processor is completely saturated, and response time is completely shot! If any of you have experienced this problem or others associated with porting ksh on 4.X.X ( I am at 4.0.1 SunOS ) please let me know how you are proceding to correct it. Thanks in advance!
