Version 2.0 of tooltool is now available. 2.0 is a significant upgrade
from 1.0, and offers:
* More gadgets, including sliders, choices, labels, text entry fields.
* Arbitrary use of bitmaps as labels.
* A complete action language (C-like) allowing most any action to be
performed by a gadget.
* Support for multiple windows, including dialog boxes and popup
confirmers.
* Use of cpp for easier specification file construction.
* and much, much more!
Tooltool is contained in 12 shar files, and includes an 80 page manual.

They are called "tooltool.shar.X" where X ranges between "01" and "12".
The files range in size from 20534 bytes to 47942 bytes and total 443893
bytes. They can be retrieved via anonymous FTP from the host
"titan.rice.edu" or via the archive server. For more information about
the archive server, send a mail message containing the word "help" to the
address "archive-server@rice.edu". Now I'll sit back and watch the server
