[comp.sys.sun] is `30 a.out incompatible with `20 a.out?

The grapevines have been saying that Sun will have a `30 machine real soon
now (as expected) but I have heard that the a.out format of the `30s will
be incompatible with the `20 a.out.

Is this true?
