When pressing the sequence CTRL-X CTRL-C in EMACS the program asks you if you wish to save your file. Answering y (yes) to this question leaves you waiting forever as if you had pressed CTRL-S. The only way to get back to the shell is to press CTRL-C. I tried changing the local modes, input modes with the STTY command without sucess. Surely there's a bug with this board since I can run EMACS with the same terminal plugged on one of the CPU's serial ports. Anyone ever encountered this kind of problem ? There is a patch for the ALM-II driver that should be applied if you are running 3.x. A similar fix is in the 4.0.1 patch kit. Sorry but I don't have a bug ID. --wnl ]]

I thought I remembered it being in there. One of these days I'm going to retrieve that README file from the 4.0.1 tape and print it out!
