You say that the TAR "t" option doesn't work ? Well ... I noticed this a few months ago and put in a modification request. The person who got my request looked at TAR and found that THERE SIMPLY ISN'T ANY CODE IN THERE FOR IT. It just doesn't exist ! Who knows what happened to it ? The resolution settled on is to remove the feature from the documentation, because TAR is "obsolete". I certainly don't care (I just like to prod the UNIX people). Bill Dietrich houxj!wapd
