[comp.sys.sun] Mapping function keys in VI?

I am trying to map the function keys R1 - R15 to do macros in the VI
editor.  I have tried setting keys in my .exrc file and my .ttyswrc file
have had no luck.  If anybody knows how to do this I would appericate help
