Your Postscript file for the SUN's printer should be ascii text.  Edit the
file to see if you have this as the first two characters of the first line
of the Postscript file:

%!

The exclamation mark informs the transcript filter to interpret the file
as a Postscript program. ie send to the printer using

lpr filename

If in doubt have a look at the files produced by ptroff with the -t option.
