often when i start up sunview, some of my windows never happen. usually a perfmeter or two is missing. occasionally a shell is missing as well. simply exiting suntools and restarting sometimes solves the problem -- but usually it will lose yet a different window... has this been discussed earlier? has anyone else encountered this bugfeature? steve elias (chipcom!eli@spdcc.com)

Steve writes about his windows not opening. I've noticed this frequently
as well. With me, it's always a perfmeter. In my .suntools file, I have
a clock and three perfmeters as the first four tools. It doesn't seem to
divide itself equally between the three perfmeters. I always find a core
file in my home directory.
If anyone finds out what's going on, please let me know as well.
