[comp.sys.sun] How does overview suspend sunview?

I'm trying to write a program that will allow me to run sunview and X
concurrently on a 386i.  One thing that I need to do is put sunview to
sleep while I run X (the other way around is easy, just stop the X
server).  Overview seems to do this.  Does anyone know how it's done?
