is possible to go beyond the advertised maximum memory limit of the machine by getting some kind of upgrade to the CPU from SUN. Other than going to the SUN4 CPU is there any way that that can be done? Is it a simple change of PROM or does the CPU have to be replaced? What's the cost and how is this done?
