"The Sun Observer" Feb 1989 issue has an index of programs available on two tapes of public domain software, and says: "The tapes are available to SUG members in tar format from: Sun Microsystems User Group, Inc. 2550 Garcia Ave, MS 10-16 Mountain View, CA, USA 94043 Telephone (415) 960-1300 SUG membership is open to all Sun Microsystems users." The index lists software in several categories (I don't want to type in the complete description, but the categories are: Tape 1 - 19.5 MB Tape 2 - 18.5 MB cellular automation 1384K dbms 2302K diagnostics 241K drivers 32K editors 1350K freeunix 284K general 434K graphics 151K kermit 424K languages 7425K languages 2905K NeWS 43K mail 3535K sunspots 2076K news 2473K sunview 2971K suntools 5817K sysadmin 73K tape ar 269K text_proc 156K tools 421K x.windows 96K These tapes are apparently unrelated to what was called the SEX tape (which has mostly if not entirely different contents) from the Miami SUG meeting. Do they exist in an archive somewhere? (they aren't on titan.) Is this SUG the same SUG that met in Miami? :-)
