[comp.sys.sun] Sun User Group public domain software tapes

Kemp@dockmaster.arpa (04/05/89)

"The Sun Observer" Feb 1989 issue has an index of programs available on
two tapes of public domain software, and says:

"The tapes are available to SUG members in tar format from:

    Sun Microsystems User Group, Inc.
    2550 Garcia Ave, MS 10-16
    Mountain View, CA, USA 94043
    Telephone (415) 960-1300
SUG membership is open to all Sun Microsystems users."

The index lists software in several categories (I don't want to type in
the complete description, but the categories are:

These tapes are apparently unrelated to what was called the SEX tape
(which has mostly if not entirely different contents) from the Miami SUG
meeting. Do they exist in an archive somewhere? (they aren't on titan.)
Is this SUG the same SUG that met in Miami? :-)
