i have a new trailblazer+ and have had quite a bit of trouble getting it to run with uucp on a sun-3. our hardware: sun 3/160, modem on serial port "a" software: SunOS 3.2, but with 4.2-style uucp (hacked by Boston Univ for some local uucp protocols, don't ask why). what works: - dial in/out at all speeds up to 19.2kb. i can dial all remote sites and get logged in - switching the same line between dial in/out what doesn't work: when uucico dials a remote site, it dials without problem, but immediately produces root princeton () FAILED (ATDT1.....) HOWEVER - i see the login banner go by, and have seen the "CONNECTED" message from the modem. when listening to the modem, it sounds like it is connecting at high speed. i can only assume that someone (uucico probably) doesn't like a return code. any help is appreciated. replies by mail, please. --hal stern polygen corporation 200 fifth avenue waltham, ma 02254 (617) 890-2888 {mit-eddie, bu-cs, princeton, sunne}!polygen!stern

I too have 3/160, SunOS 3.3, cuan ports from the kernel hack for two way. Can someone point me to an archive where I can FTP the baud rate fix for TB at 19.2 or 9.6 or what ever it is and the TB equivalent to ACUHAYES2400 for the TB. Any / all pointers much appreciated. /Ev/ -- The_Main_User (So Calif SunLUG | Vta-SB-SLO-DECUS) efb@elroy.JPL.Nasa.Gov efb@suned1.UUCP efbatey@Vaxb.Navy.MIL Statements, Opinions ... MINE ...
