I've recently acquired the Disspla graphics library for a current development project. Disspla has been around a long time (as some of you may know), however, the driver they provide for the sun interface is, well, at best, marginally useful. It creates a window with a canvas (where th canvas only uses about 60% of the base window size) and as soon as you click the mouse anywhere inside the window area, the window is destroyed. Oh, is does allow you to specify a static window size or one that allows you to resize it before it starts drawing. What I would LIKE to do is be able to pass Disspla the window handle and have it plot in that canvas which I have already created. Disspla is generous enough to provide the source for their driver, but being very new to both SunView AND Disspla, I'm at a big disadvantage for diving in and creating my own device driver. I thought before I do take the plunge, I would ask all of you out there if any one has done this sort of thing and if you have, would you be so kind as to share your secrets?? ANY information you can provide regarding this will be greatly appreciated. Please reply directly to me via e-mail. Thanks in advance.
