SunOS 4.0 installation leaves /home exported by default, but clients don't mount /home. They mount /home/<server>. If you want client swap space in /home (/home/swap/<client>), export just /home/<server> instead of all of /home. Don't forget to run exportfs -a after changing /etc/export. (Apologies if this solution has already been posted. I'm behind in reading news and haven't noticed this go by.) -- Dick St.Peters GE Corporate R&D, Schenectady, NY stpeters@ge-crd.arpa (sometimes stpeters@crd.ge.com) uunet!steinmetz!stpeters GE would charge for opinions if it could find any.
