Can anyone tell me how to tune minfree, desfree, and lotsfree for running
one large program on a Sun with 24 megs of memory. I want the large
program to get more of memory than is normally allowed, as it's the only
thing running that I care about. What are the trade-offs in such tuning?
The large program is a version of Lisp, on a 3/60 still running 3.5 if
that matters. Many thanks for any insights you have.
