inb and outb are kernel support routines specific to Sun386i which read
from and write to a port address in I/O space. Does anyone know if 'port
address' means the absolute/physical address, and if these routines can be
used to avoid writing a device driver. where do these kernel support
routines reside? - cc doesn't seem to know about them.
thanks in advance C.Y. Wong
