Personally I don't mind the non-sun-nets stuff on sun nets, but I believe that it would be better if there were a non-moderated version of sun-spots that people use when quick turn-around is required. As part of my effort to reduce the volume in Sun-Spots, I plan on creating a new list specifically for the discussion of managing Sun systems. It will be housed at Rice, it will be run by me, but it will be neither moderated nor digested. There are many exciting and surprising things in the works. Things will never be the same again.
