[comp.sys.sun] Subnetting with Sunlink INR

eckert@decwrl.dec.com (Toerless Eckert) (05/11/89)

- We are having a problem with Suns Sunlink Internetwork Router product that
- I hope someone here can help with.
...

The only problem is with route which cannot distinguish between subnet
routes and host routes by. The "man" entry for route is misleading too,
with respect to the arguments. Try

/usr/etc/route add net 130.18.8.0 Corona 1

As opposed to "/usr/etc/route -n add net 130.18.8.0 Corona 1" which will
not work. The above command will enter your route as a network route into
the kernel's routing tables.
