i have found a bug in or with du. if you "du" a directory that has more
than some ( unknown to me ) number of files in it, du reports back the
size of the file that is the directory rather than the number of blocks
used by the files in the directory.
any ideas?
( this happened when someone that we were passing news on to died for a
few days, more food for the lets-change-uucp-at-least-37-ways people )
