hi...this is Andrew Lindh from the U of hartford in SunView the windows are mostly ANSI...not VT100 a VT100 is mostly ANSI.... if you want a FULL VT100 or VT220 then talk to sun they have a package called SunLink TE100 it is a tool that runs under SunView Andrew lindh@hartford.bitnet lindh@uhasun.uucp

Check out comp.sources.unix (or equivalent archive near you) for "screen" - it not only acts like a vt100, it allows you to flip between virtual terminals. It is PD as well, so if you don't like it, change it!! Kevin Sheehan kevin@sun.com ...!sun!kevin
