[comp.sys.sun] Seeking info on VME Bus and peripherals

I am seeking opinions on VME interconnections.  Other than standard
interfaces provided by Sun (or what ever vendor's equipment you have),
what third party peripherals did you buy to connect to your VME?  Are
these peripherals 6u or 9u?

What do you give up by having only 6u?  Is 9u necessary?  Any comments
on the requirements of a P3 connector?  Other random comments....
