Anybody know if/when Sun are planning to supply a C compiler with
ANSI compatibility?

The GNU C compiler from the Free Software Foundation is ANSI draft
compliant. If you want info on getting it send mail to
<gnu@prep.ai.mit.edu> or use anonymous ftp to prep.ai.mit.edu and look in
the director /u/emacs for a file named GETTING.GNU.SOFTWARE. There
compiler runs well on Suns in general. They also have a very nifty
debugger to go with the compiler.
