Hi folks. I must install SunOS 4.0.3 on a 8MB 3/160C with 327 MB disk, and on a 3/50 diskless client. (This is in order to run a preliminary copy of X11/NeWS on the 3/160), and I wonder what things may give me problems. I also may want to put 4.0.3 on a 4MB 3/60 with 327 MB disk. In that case I presume that I'll have to add 4MB memory to the 3/60 at least. I've stuck with 3.5 on all machines to this point because I've heard so many rumours about 4.0 problems. Any suggestions or horror stories, gotcha's etc., on the install or with the living with 4.0.3 afterwards, would be much appreciated. I would be happy to summarize if you would mail me. My well account, or my .signature can be replied to.
