We have two sets of Sun 386i's. Two sun 386i/150's with 4MB. One Sun 386i/250 with 16MB. The two 386i 150's are configured with the standard 16MB of swap space and the 250 is configured with 64MB of swap space. The machines are all running Sun OS 4.0.1. Running identical kernels on all machines, xwindow code compiled on the 250 runs fine. However, on the 150 the code immediately exits because mmap fails yielding error BW2 mapping: no such device or address. Sunview and screendump screenload which access directly or indirectly /dev/bwtwo0 both work fine on these machines. Has anybody seen a problem like this with X?
