[comp.sys.sun] Dumping pixrects for printing

Hi,
We need to do the following:
1. Dump the Pixrect of a CANVAS to a file in Sun's Raster Image format.
2. Dump the Pixrect of a PANEL (with CHOICE items in it) to a file in
   Sun's Raster Image format.
3. Combine both files and print them with a 'v' filter.

Any help on how to accomplish this & any sample code would be
greatly appreciated.
