I am running SunOS 4.0.3 on a color 3/60. We use a CAD package here which, for performance reasons, cannot be run in a sunview window and thus, we are forced to choose between bringing up this package running fullscreen or else run sunview. I was wondering if anyone had developed a program which would operate similar to adjacentscreens, giving you two separate shell environments locked into the B&W and Color planes with switching between them controlled by running the mouse off one side of the screen. Starting from this point, the CAD program could be fired up in the Color plane and (possibly?) sunview could then be run in the B&W plane. Anyway, you get the general idea. Does anyone have any experience with this type of task or is there some inherent problem with this idea? Thanks. Jeffery Small (206) 485-5596 uw-beaver!uw-nsr!uw-warp C.
