Is it technically possible to use the SCC that runs a Sun serial port to access an Apple LocalTalk network (with the right software and LocalTalk "transceiver", of course)? All Sun-to-Mac network connectivity solutions I've seen involve getting the Mac on the Ethernet, which is relatively expensive. LocalTalk hardware can't be that expensive since it's not even optional in a Macintosh, and everybody uses the same SCC these days, don't they? Mike Caplinger, ASU/Caltech Mars Observer Project
