We've got a Sun 3/260 running SunOS 3.5. On our Sun, I have installed a data communications processor board (DCP), and required software. We're trying to run the Sunlink X.25 package on that board over a telenet connection using one of the board's RS-232 ports (dcpa1). All the required software and kernel mods have been installed/done. Here's my problem: I issue a "dcpattach dcpa1" : everything looks ok I issue "dclpoad dcpmon.image" : and get the message on the console - "dcpa: initialized, max vrtx addr=6b50" So far, everything looks okay, right? I then proceed to start up the X.25 link by issuing the follwing commands: x25start dcpa1 9600 system responds: speed=9600, loopback=no, nrzi=no, txc=txc, rxc=rxc I then issue the command "x25config" here's where the problems start. I get a message on the console about every 5 seconds as follows: dcpa: zss1: xmit hung, donebits=0 dcpa: dma count = 1, zd_xact=f780:3000, rr0=38 dcpa: zss1: xmit hung, donebits=0 dcpa: dma count = 1, zd_xact=fc00:3000, rr0=38 dcpa: zss1: xmit hung, donebits=0 dcpa: dma count = 1, zd_xact=ff00:3000, rr0=38 dcpa: zss1: xmit hung, donebits=0 dcpa: dma count = 1, zd_xact=ff80:3000, rr0=38 dcpa: zss1: xmit hung, donebits=0 dcpa: dma count = 1, zd_xact=fd00:3000, rr0=38 dcpa: zss1: xmit hung, donebits=0 dcpa: dma count = 1, zd_xact=400:3000, rr0=38 " " . This continues until I issue the dcpreset command. The real strange thing about this, is that I was able to get the thing working about a month ago by running dcpdiag before issuing the x25start and x25config commands. At that time, I was able to pad to various computers via the X.25 circuit. If anyone out there can make suggestions as to what might be wrong with my setup, I will greatly appreciate it.
