Does anyone know of a GPIB board that will work on a Sparcstation 1? National Instruments has the Sun3/4 VME board with a C library. They also have a SCSI->GPIB box. How "hard" is it to write code to access a SCSI device on a SS1? Or does someone make a S-Bus GPIB board? Dwight Kelly gatech.edu!npiatl.UUCP!dkelly

Sun(UK?) published a list (December 8th 1989) of SBus cards available/ under development. Under IEEE488 they list: IOtech SBus-IEEE488 controller Dan Lucarini 216-439-4091 National Instruments GPIB interface Tim Dehne 512-794-0100 I have no other knowledge of these products. Other cards listed include: Parallel/serial I/O Bus adapters Frame buffers Co-processors Scanner i/f LAN/WAN SCSI controller Modems/fax modems A to D I/O Memory DMA controllers/extenders Interface boards Does anyone have first-hand experience of any of these, especially parallel/serial boards?
