Is it true that Sun only supports the old SCSI 2 boards (the ones without disconnect) on the 4/280, and not the newer SCSI 3 boards. Is it for 4/390, 4/490? Anyone have a SCSI 2 board they want to get rid of? Anyone have a SCSI 2 board they want to get rid of? Where did you hear this? It isn't true. We just installed a SCSI-3 board in our 4/280. It runs both a 1/4" cartridge tape on rst0 and an 8mm Exabyte on rst1. Both have been humming along for several weeks now. The whole package (board plus tape units) came from Artecon. Evan G.
