We're looking for an xy plotting utility that's more versatile than the standard graph/plot stuff. It should be able to display under sunview and it would be nice if it could produce postscript and/or HPGL output. The ability to enter multiple datasets is needed, along with labeling capabilities (x-y axis, labels for each curve, etc.). Color isn't necessary, but... I've tried gnuplot (nice, but no multiple datasets per plot) and I'm looking at vplot (seems to be a programming language), but I need a simple utility that users can feed data into and get plots in their sunview windows and/or to the postscript laserwriter. Thanks in advance for any pointers or suggestions! I'll post the results if needed. Larry Thorne, Sys. Mgr. email: larryt@ae.msstate.edu
